About

So, what’s it like coming to therapy with me?

Well, the first couple of sessions are mostly about getting a history of the issues that you want to work on and talking about the changes that you would like to see soon. Then we plan for how we are going to achieve all that.

Some of the best treatment modalities out there to treat trauma, stress and depression focus less on treating you as a diagnosis and more toward treating you as a human. They are the methods and strategies that I like to use. If you’re curious, you can look up a few of my favorites; EMDR, Somatic Experiencing ® or Internal Family Systems (IFS).

You’ll find that I’m neutral when it comes to religion or spiritual practices. In therapy with me, you can feel comfortable bringing whatever it is in your spiritual life that brings you peace and comfort. We can use it to help you through the process of healing.
